CPDP - Computers, Privacy and Data Protection conference 2024

CPDP is an annual conference on privacy and data protection organised in Brussels matters hosted in Brussels. In 2024, this year it will take place from 22 to 24 May on the topic: ''To govern or to be governed, that is the question''.

The event gathers academics, lawyers, practitioners, policy-makers, industry and civil society from all over the world, offering them an arena to exchange ideas and discuss the latest emerging issues and trends in the digital sphere.

The EDPS will organise two panels on Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection:

  • Challenges and opportunities of open-source Artificial Intelligence
  • Personal Data in the Time of AI

EDPS' experts will also participate as speakers in other panels and the Supervisor will deliver the conference's closing remarks.
